Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SecretUXD website, platform, integrations and related services (the “Services”). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

If you use SecretUXD on behalf of a company, agency or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and “you” refers to that organisation.

SecretUXD audits websites, screenshots and design files against usability heuristics, Laws of UX and WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility criteria, and produces findings, reports and suggested code fixes.

We continually improve the Services, so features may be added, changed or retired over time. Features marked “beta” or “coming soon” are provided as-is and may change without notice.

• You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate, up-to-date information when you sign up.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that happens under your account.
• Let us know straight away through our contact page if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• Workspace owners are responsible for the teammates and clients they invite, and for managing their access.

Only audit what you are allowed to audit. You may submit your own sites and designs, or those you have permission to review, for example as an agency working for a client. You may also audit publicly available pages for legitimate research and evaluation.

You agree not to:

• Use the Services to overload, attack, probe or scan systems you are not authorised to test.
• Audit pages behind a login unless you have the right to access and share that content.
• Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or contains sensitive personal data you are not permitted to share.
• Reverse engineer, copy or resell the Services, or use them to build a competing product.
• Get around usage limits, access controls or security measures.
• Use automated means to access the Services other than through our official APIs and integrations.

You keep all rights to the URLs, screenshots, design files and other material you submit (“Your Content”), and to the reports generated from it.

You give us a limited licence to host, process, analyse and display Your Content only as needed to provide and improve the Services for you. We do not use Your Content to train third-party AI models. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle it in detail.

Agencies and white-label reports: you may brand, share and resell reports generated for your clients. You are responsible for your agreements with those clients.

SecretUXD labels each finding as a deterministic check, an AI-inferred pattern, or an item that needs human review. AI-inferred findings and suggested code fixes can be incomplete or wrong, and you should review them before relying on them or shipping changes.

Audits are not a certification. Our accessibility checks help you find and fix issues, but automated testing cannot guarantee that a product fully complies with WCAG, the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, the ADA, the European Accessibility Act or any other law. SecretUXD does not replace usability testing with real users or professional legal advice.

SecretUXD offers a Free plan and two paid plans, Growth and Scale. What each plan includes and its current price are shown on our pricing page and in your account settings.

• Free plan: 1 page audit every 30 days, with a basic UX health score, the top 10 findings and a basic WCAG 2.2 scan. No payment details are needed, and there is no time-limited free trial of the paid plans.
• Paying: paid plans are bought in advance for a monthly period (30 days) or a yearly period (365 days) through our payment partner, Razorpay, by UPI, card or netbanking in Indian Rupees (INR), or by international card in US dollars (USD) where offered. Yearly billing is discounted and charged in full up front. The amount shown in the payment window is the amount you are charged.
• One-time full report: on the Free plan you can pay once to unlock the full report of a single audit run after this option was introduced (₹500 plus GST in INR, or US$8). It shows that audit as the Growth plan would, including PDF download and sharing, and does not change your plan or page allowance. If you buy a paid plan within 7 days, in the same currency, the amount is taken off that plan's first payment, once.
• No automatic renewal: plans do not renew and we never charge you automatically. We email you 7 days and 1 day before your plan ends. If you don't pay for another period, your account moves to the Free plan when it ends, and your audits and reports stay in your account.
• Starting, extending and upgrading: a plan starts as soon as the payment goes through. Paying again for the plan you already have adds the new period to the end of your current one. If you upgrade from Growth to Scale before Growth ends, the unused Growth time is converted into Scale time at list prices and added to your new plan.
• Downgrading: you can move to a lower plan once your current paid plan ends. Plan changes that can't be paid online are handled by our team on request.
• Page allowance: each plan includes a number of page audits per 30-day period (1 on Free, 50 on Growth, 150 on Scale). On Free, periods count from the day you signed up; on a paid plan, from the day the plan started. Unused pages do not carry over to the next period, and failed audits are not counted.
• Price changes: we may change our prices or plan contents. Changes apply only to payments made after they take effect, never to a period you have already paid for.

All payments are final. We do not offer refunds, whether in full or in part, including for unused time, unused page audits, moving to a lower plan, or closing your account before your plan ends. Please use the Free plan to try SecretUXD before you pay.

This does not affect any rights you have that cannot be excluded by law. If you were charged more than once for the same order because of a technical error, contact us and we will look into it.

The Services can connect to third-party products such as Google, Figma, Jira and Linear. Your use of those products is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them. If a third party changes or discontinues its service, the related SecretUXD integration may stop working.

SecretUXD, including our software, rules base, scoring methods, design, logos and documentation, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services while your account is active. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely without any obligation to you.

You can stop using the Services and close your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Services in a way that could harm others or expose us to legal risk. Where reasonable, we will notify you first and give you a chance to fix the issue.

After your account ends, you can ask us to export your reports for a short period, after which Your Content will be deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every issue on your product will be found.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SecretUXD will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to defend and compensate SecretUXD against claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from Your Content, your breach of these Terms, or your auditing of any website or product you were not authorised to audit.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before starting any formal proceedings, we both agree to try to resolve disputes informally by contacting each other. If a dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

We may update these Terms as the Services evolve. For material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and notify you by email or in the product at least 15 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Services after that, you accept the updated Terms.
